The Fuji Rubber Butt Cap has to be the best available on the market at the moment. Being quite tall they seal the end of the rod very well and are extremely neat. Unlike other, cheaper makes they will also give long service, often lasting many seasons without perishing and the ends of these caps are very rigid and offer good protection for the butt of the rod. Although quite strong and thick-walled the Fuji butt caps will stretch out a little if needed but you will find it easier if you warm them in hot water first to make them a little more flexible and easier to work with.
